Jujutsu Kaisen animated series announced by Crunchyroll

The Crunchyroll platform is pleased to announce this evening the acquisition of the animated series Jujutsu Kaisen, an adaptation of the eponymous manga that has quickly established itself among the best shonen since its release in 2018!

Published in the famous magazine Weekly Shônen Jump, the latter has already sold more than 6.5 million copies in Japan.The animated one is directed by Sunghoo Park to whom we owe The God of High School via the MAPPA studio. Its broadcast is scheduled for the fall season!

Synopsis

Suffering, regrets, humiliations … the negative feelings that humans feel are gradually transformed into plagues hiding in our existence. Extending all over the world, they are capable of leading people to terrible misfortunes and, sometimes, even to death. Additionally, these creatures can only be exorcised by another plague. Ordinary high school student, Yûji Itadori is however endowed with an extraordinary physical strength.
