The broadcast is scheduled for April 10 in Japan. At the end of the 19th century, an improbable duo found themselves embarked on the same ship leaving Japan for the USA.

The clever but cowardly samurai Isshiki Kosame and the brilliant but asocial engineer Sorano Appare have nothing in common … and yet they are both broke like wheats! Landed on the west coast, they signed up for the Trans-American motor race, the prize pool of which would finance their return to the country. In addition to the mechanical problems of their makeshift steam racing car, they will have to face stiff competition between Los Angeles and New York, their adversaries being ready for any blow to obtain the victory.
