New trailer for the new version of the SHAMAN KING anime
The start of a new anime adaptation of Shaman King (manga by Hiroyuki Takei) was announced last June. We now have a few more details on this new series called Shaman King 2021. We also got the first small preview of the series thanks to its first teaser.
For the character of Yoh Asakura, it will be by Yoko Hikasa who will lend her voice, already known for roles like Stephanie Dola (No Game No Life) and Emi Yusa (The Devil Is a Part-Timer!).
Despite this change in casting, some familiar voices are back to reprise their respective roles.
Katsuyuki Konishi (Amidamaru)
Megumi Hayashibara (Anna Kyoyama)
Minami Takayama (Hao Asakur)
Joji Furuta (The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments, Uta no Prince Sama Maji Love Kingdom…) is in the production of this new anime for the Bridge studio (Fairy Tail…). Shoji Yonemura (Pokémon, Listen to Me!) Signs the scenarios. Satohiko Sano (Welcome to Demon School, Iruma Kun …) takes care of the character design. And it’s Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia, Haikyu !!) who composes the music.
The anime is slated for release in April 2021 and will cover all 35 volumes of the original manga edition.
